Rotary Announcements
Adam Rees: Faithful Rotarian, Ron Sanders, passed away on April 18th. A celebration of Ron's life will be held on June 7th.
Aaron Antony: Mark your calendars! Ditch pick will be May 20th beginning at 5:00 pm.
David Winkelman: Volunteers are needed to water newly planted trees. See David for details.
Eric Charpentier: We're sponsoring two campers at Ryla this year. The morning club is sponsoring one. We may need help with transportation in July.
Adam Rees: We have a couple of openings on the Rotary Board. See Michelle if you're interested in being involved with the Board.
Rotary Events
May 1, 2025: A small group met for a Rotary Happy Hour at Jake Pine Brewery. Author Mariia Kharytonova told stories about Ukraine, spoke about her book, and played music.
May 3, 2025: We had a great turn out for our Club Service Day at Rotary Park. Lots of projects were accomplished.
May 5, 2025: The Reverse Raffle was a huge success. All 300 tickets were sold. Thanks to everyone that participated in making this success happen!
Save the Date
Change of Gavel will be held on June 17, 2025, at Cragun's. We will not have a noon meeting on that date.
Camp Journey will be held October 17-18 this year. Volunteers will be needed for this over-night event.
District Conference will be October 24-25 in Duluth.

Rick Meyer - iNaturalist for Rotary Riverside Park
Rick is a former educator; he retired after teaching in Pine River. Rick is a Minnesota Master Naturalist Volunteer. He spoke to the club about the iNaturalist Program. iNaturalist is a world-wide app that acts as social media for nature and science. Rotary Park has it's own iNaturalist page that allows you to see photos taken at Rotary Park. There's a wealth of information about different species observed at the park. There's photos and information regarding where the photos were taken.
