International Rotary Trip to Cambodia and Global Grant:
Board Approves $5,000 International Grant in partnership with Global Grant #2343143: Family Self-Reliance Through Village Empowerment -
Brainerd Rotary is joining approximately 50 Clubs and Districts worldwide to assist Cambodia's small rural villages with clean water and education. Today we heard more from Buford Johnson and Adam Reese, along with Diane Johnson and Rhoda Rees, who have visited this project in Cambodia.
Camp Journey: May 19-20 will be the next Camp Journey at Confidence Learning Center. We need Rotarians to help. Please watch for sign-ups.
STRIVE: Today is the last day and celebration for the 19-20 students who have been through the program. Join us at 10:45am at the High School for cake and celebration. Go to the front office and there will be people to direct you.
Join us for the $10,000 Happy Hour on May 18th at the Curling Club on Crow Wing County Fairgrounds from 6-8pm.
Tickets are available from Carol Johnson. They are $100 a piece (gives you a chance to win $10,000).
We will be selling 300 tickets and giving 4 to the team that sells the most. We are requesting that each Rotarian sells at least one ticket.
Let's sell them all and raise some money for our local Rotary Foundation that gives grants to impact youth in our area. Which Rotary team will win??? Find your teammates HERE.
