Rotary Announcements
John Forrest: Save the date for May 3, 2025! This will be a club service day at Rotary Park.
David Winkelman: In honor of Earth Day, David wrote the following statement:
Today is Earth Day on planet Earth, our home. That means we have the honored chance to share compassion for all the remaining wild things in nature. That means we can celebrate our connection to the wild, which we once were and sometimes still are. In the Earth Day spirit, I ask the question; is our so-called higher standard of living worth the cost in things natural, wild, and free? For us who have adopted Earth as our wild mother, the chance to see white swans flying, the first wildflower of spring or birds returning home are more important than seeing television or reading bad news. Make today a special occasion for you with the Earth. Get outside, breathe deeply and pray for our future on Earth.
Sarah Smith: STRIVE started the year with 18 participants. We have 10 that will receive scholarships this year.
Heather Kelm: Thank you to all the Rotarians that volunteered for the Easter Egg Hunt this year. The event went extremely well.
Aaron Antony: Ditch pick will most likely take place in about a month. We will aim for a Monday beginning at 5:00 pm.
Allie Verchota: Reverse Raffle tickets are due Tuesday, April 29nd. Please push to sell your tickets! This is our main fundraiser for our Rotary Foundation. The event and drawing will be held Monday, May 5, 2025, at Prairie Bay (Cinco de Mayo).
Save the Date
