Paula announced Andy Rangen accepted the president nominee for this coming year.
She shared that in 1991/92 our club started our local Brainerd Rotary Foundation. Please RSVP by June 14 for the June 25, 2024 annual Change of Gavel event at Cragun's Golf Resort Pavilion.
Aaron Antony cancelled ditch pickup for tonight June 4 because of thunderstorms. This event was to Monday, June 10th, 5-8PM. Meet by Safari North and we will have pizza & beverages at the Welcome Center afterwards. An email with a link to the sign up sheet will be sent today.
Sarah Smith shared a message from the Arb. Kelly Hughes wrote, "We value the partnership that we have with you and your organization, but to be consistent with other organizations and renters, we do have to ask again that the clean-up gets completed after each of your events.
Could you please sweep and mop after your event? We have large mops, a Swiffer mop as well as brooms and a vacuum located in the back closet. If you would like a refresher of our clean up procedures please let Trevor or myself know. The past few weeks Trevor or myself have to spend time cleaning in order for it to be ready and clean for the next group to use. If it is not cleaned, then the next group does not feel like they should have to clean and this creates an ongoing pattern. We have invested a lot of money into remodeling our lower level and would like to keep this looking nice.
If you would like us to start doing the clean up each week, we would be able to do this, but we will have to start charging at a rate of $100.00 per ½ hour as indicated in our facility rental contract. If we do not find our space cleaned to these standards, we will begin charging starting next week. Please let us know if you would like to add this to your invoice. We would need some notice and have to add this time to our maintenances teams schedule each week.
Here are the items we would like completed each week:
- Please sweep and mop entire floor
- Push all the chairs in close around the tables ( 6 chairs around each table)
- Empty garbage’s and put in a clean bag in each garbage
- Put away any extra banquet tables that were used. (only 12 round tables/chairs should be left out)
