Buford presented Paul Harris pins to Kevin Thesing, Donn Peterson, Jeff Torfin, and Mark Dockendorf.

Sergeant at Arms: Carol fined Kevin Thesing for setting the bar too high for the other Sergeants at Arms. He raised $1,200.00 last week for our international projects. She also fined our Brainerd High School grads that didn't know who won the Homecoming game. She fined the rest of the club for enjoying the beautiful weather.
Speaker: Club Meeting Day
The club broke into small groups to discuss Club Retention and Recruitment. Several ideas were generated to increase and maintain our club membership including:
1. Make it easier for snowbirds to participate in the Club;
2. New members have a red badge and progress to a blue badge;
3. Additional membership options with reduced costs;
4. Approach employers to encourage their younger employees to participate;
5. Approach business owners; explain the value of membership to themselves and their employees;
6. Draft a fact sheet or elevator speech that can be handed out;
7. Reach out the the JC's about a formal partnership;
8. Reach out to area leaders;
9. Add membership information to the peaches we distribute; and
10. Advertise.
