Allie Verchota: Reverse Raffle tickets are due Tuesday, April 22nd. Please push to sell your tickets! This is our main fundraiser for our Rotary Foundation. The event and drawing will be held Monday, May 5, 2025, at Prairie Bay (Cinco de Mayo).

 

 

 

Change of Gavel will be held on June 17, 2025, at Cragun's. We will not have a noon meeting on that date.

 

Camp Journey will be held October 17-18 this year. Volunteers will be needed for this over-night event.

 

District Conference will be October 24-25 in Duluth.

 

 

 

The primary goal of Rotary Youth Exchange is providing young people with opportunities to experience a cultural exchange and to develop as leaders who promote peace and justice around the world. The Youth Exchange program originated in 1927 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The first year long, international youth exchange took place in 1958 when two students from Australia went to Colorado while a student from Nebraska went to Australia.

 

Jesse has led our youth exchange program for 10 years. During that time, our club has hosted students from Brazil, Colombia, Thailand, Austria, Denmark, and Peru. The students come to the United States on a J-1 Visa, which is a non-immigrant visa that allows foreign nationals to temporarily stay in the U.S. to participate in educational and cultural exchange programs.
