Bradford Folta: There will be a gathering in January at Camp Confidence for our Rotary Youth Exchange. Bradford is hoping to get other local clubs involved.

 

Sarah Smith: The first STRIVE session was last week. 17 students attended. Bill Potvin kicked things off with his talk on Priorities. Please see Sarah if you're interested in mentoring this year.

 

Peter Nelson: Save the Date! The District Conference will be held in Fergus Falls on April 25th and 26th. 

 

 

 

Change of Gavel will be held on June 17, 2025, at Cragun's. We will not have a noon meeting on that date.

 

 

Lee Seipp had the tables read Halloween jokes. The two tables that got the most laughs were exempt from fines. Everyone else had to pay up.

 

 

Debby Erickson - Crow Wing County Administrator

 

Debby has been a member of our club for 17 years. She's been with Crow Wing County for 30 years and has served as the County Administrator for the last 6 months. Crow Wing County's vision is to be "Minnesota's Favorite Place."

 

Debby provided the club with a comprehensive overview of events around Crow Wing County including: the 2025 budget; a refresh of the County's comprehensive plan; the grand opening of Little Emily Park; the expansion of the Milford Mine Memorial Park; the new Recycling Center at the Landfill; Highway Projects; Community Service Projects; and Public Safety Projects.
