New Member: Barbara Rholl, sponsored by Dutch Cragun, is a newly proposed member of our club. Barabara's application has been reviewed by the Membership Committee, recommended for approval, and approved for membership by our Club Board. In accordance with our Club Bylaws, if no written objection stating reasons is received within seven (7) days of this announcement and publication, Barabara shall be considered elected to membership in the Brainerd Rotary Club. If you have any specific objections to this membership proposal, please contact Todd Bymark, our Membership Chair, or any member of our Club Board.
Fundraiser: Time to sell tickets for the Reverse Raffle! 300 ticket will be sold for $100.00 each. The event and drawing will be held Monday, May 5, 2025, at Prairie Bay (Cinco de Mayo). If you pay a happy dollar and tell the club how you will sell tickets, your name will go into a drawing for a Paul Harris.
Save the Date
Change of Gavel will be held on June 17, 2025, at Cragun's. We will not have a noon meeting on that date.
Camp Journey will be held October 17-18 this year. Volunteers will be needed for this over-night event.
District Conference will be October 24-25 in Duluth.

Brought to you by Paula Persons: 60 years ago in 1965 - Brainerd Rotarians yesterday heard Henry Mills give a resume of his recent trip around the world. Mills and his wife, Lou, started in Hawaii, then on to Japan, Hong Kong, India, Egypt, and Europe. A Rotary member here for 29 years, he maintained his perfect attendance record by attending Rotary club meetings around the world.
