Orientation Checklist

Your first twelve months in the Club is an important tie in determining whether you will become engaged in the Club activities, start new friendships, and begin to feel a sense of ownership in the club.  This is why we are asking you to sue this checklist as a guide for your involvement.  Your sponsor has also received a copy of this checklist and we are asking that they monitor your progress with you in completing these duties.  Please keep your sponsor informed as you complete the checklist.

New Member Activities Date Completed
1. Classification Talk/Rotary Knowtary

New members will be asked to present to the Club 5-10 minutes about yourself, family, work and interest so that other Club members may get to know you.

 
2. Greeter

New members are asked to act as Club meeting "greeters" at two of the Club meetings.  Encourage your Sponsor to act as "greeter" with you.
  

 
3.  Community Service Project

New members are asked to participate in at least one of the Club's community service projects.  check with your Sponsor for service opportunities.

 
4.  New Member Orientation

New members are asked to complete at least six hours of orientation. 

 
5.  Committee Involvement

New members are encouraged to join at least one Club committee.  Sponsors are encouraged to recommend a committee that reflects new member interests/talents.

 
6.  Attendance

New members are encouraged to have 100% attendance in their first twelve months.  A minimum of 60% attendance is required during the first twelve months.
