BRAINERD ROTARY Roadside Pickup and Trash Bash

The Roadside pickup held on May 10, 2011.  This year we had some special guests helping us.  The GSE (Group Study Exchange) from Brazil was in Brainerd, attended our noon meeting, and then helped us with the roadside pickup.  After picking up we met down by Boon Lake for a picnic dinner.  Afterwards there were tours of the upcoming community garden.  There was also a map showing were the new Park will be.  Things were cut short by a quick rain storm with even a little hail.  But we still have a great time. Thanks to all those who helped with the meal and to pick up trash on a Spring evening.
