BRAINERD ROTARY Community Easter Egg Hunt April 11, 2009

This year the weather cooperated and we were able to hold the hunt at Lum Park.  Nearly 30 Rotarians, family and youth from our local Interact Club arrived at the municipal park at 8:00 AM on Saturday morning.  We stuffed 500 bags with candy in anticipation of children 3 to 7 years old arriving for the annual hunt at 10:00 AM.  All remaining candy was taken by the Easter Bunny to the local woman's shelter, PORT group homes for boys and girls, and a local nursing home.  Before the day was done nearly 600 people received a visit from the Easter Bunny.
